Very good show. This was my awakening experience seeing String Cheese Incident. Bob's opening set set the psychadelic mood of the show.
The venue was basically a little valley fenced off with oak trees. Very hot that day. Cool parking lot scene. I drove up from Oceanside that morning with a buddy from school.
Got home around 3 am. Went to the L.A. show the next day. Of the two shows, I found the opening day to be more 'enjoyable' musically for me.

ah... the joy of another summer beginning and fresh music to listen to...this is the first new cheese i've heard this year and it sounds wonderful! the recording is excellent, crowd noise is minimal, just enough to let you know that they're all having fun... the new song "peace of mind" sounds exactly that...NEW, meaning it needs some work because it sounds like they don't have the timing right yet...
i'm heading out on phil tour and i will be taking this show with me!
check out this show, you will enjoy it!!

I, personally, purchased the SBD, as I have been waiting, what seems like, a looooong to hear the Cheese again. The start was a little shaky, but much better than I expected. The Cheese we all know and love started ripping it out with Best Feeling and didn't stop. Final song could have gone a little more hard core, but I bet their chops were starting to ache. The end of this tour is going to be sick, especially if they hold onto and develop the "jazzy-bass/keyboard-twang jams" Nice work guys! See you at Red Rocks!

This show was great, the most fun you could ever have at 105 degrees!!! Thanks for getting this up so fast! What a treat, can't wait to get the L.A. and San Diego shows too, they were also great. This tour is going to absolutely jam! The energy of the two bands sharing the tour and sitting in together is awesome. Cheese Dog!!!!!

but i've been listening to too many other insane shows lately. started off nice and yeah that transition into eye know why was chill. some of my favorites like little hands and best feeling were a little weak. as far as the new ones go, they will figure out what works cause they feed off the crowd's vibes. half way through close your eyes i thought they were about to start ripping it up... but that was the end.

From those of us that got left out of the tour area...THANK YOU for getting this show up so quickly. The archive is the only way I get fresh cheese this summer.
This cheese is mold free, super creamy and dank (in a good way)!
Sound quality... 3.5 - 4 stars, good balance maybe a little low fat on the bass side. Overall pretty good aud. Can't give it five and not hear Keith any more prominently.
Fresh, mold free cheese... 5 stars

sound quality of the recording is very good. the show was a little shakey but you can tell they have practiced. New jams are right on, coulpe new songs that well all get used to. Tamba is pretty cool but i still need to see it live before i judge. All in all a great tour opened (esp. for cheese!) The best feeling jam is straight nastiness!!! Cool intro into eye know why, TTB was flubbed hard, LH had a sweet jam, Best feeling was def the highlight for me!!!
